As a teenager, he began imitating James Brown in local nightclubs and talent contests and later found his own style. He has since released many singles with backing tracks by The Dap Kings, Will Sessions, The Soul Surfers and The Soul Motivators, and Kenny Dope has also covered one of his tracks. An absolute must for all funk and soul collectors.
