Originally released in 1959, James Brown's debut LP "Please, Please, Please" is a collection of 16 A and B sides recorded for the Federal label between 1956 and 1958. The songs all fall into the same saxophone-driven and gospel-influenced style that could be heard in any nightclub in the late 1950s. Another classic from the King Of Funk!
